Peak Adventure Visit

14th - 16th October, several of our young people joined a group of 22 children and young people along with five adult leaders from the former Pontefract and Normanton Circuit in visiting the Peak Adventure Activity Centre in Penistone,   Once on site, the children from several different churches in the circuit soon began working as a team with their first activity - Mini Os.  Throughout the weekend the young people also took part in a variety of other activities including climbing, zip wire, tackling an obstacle course whilst blindfolded and archery.  Various forms of transport and trees were also created from giant meccano.

In addition to having a great time various skills were developed such as team work, communication and trust.

Sometimes our children take part in the Sunday Service, sometimes we enjoy our own special activities based on the theme of the service that week.
