Many, many thanks to all who helped towards raising £254 for Christian Aid yesterday. Talk to each other about your experiences. Other groups benefited including our redevelopment fund. Nigel has details.

Nigel's college is visited by Ofsted next week. He already knows he is to be observed.

Today's readings Acts 11: 1 to 18, Revelation 21: 1 to 6 and John 13: 31 to 35.

Thursday 6th: Our premises are being used as a Polling Station.
Friday 7th: Short information session with Harvey Jubb of Ackworth to consider our web site and possible changes together with power point technical tips. 7-30pm at Brian and Mary's.
Saturday 8th: Missions Banquet at Central- speaker is Rev Jacob Kaiga see poster.

Thursday 13th: Graham Kendrick's Acoustic Gospels Tour at Castleford 5 Towns Christian Fellowship. Songs that tell stories, paint scenes on the imagination and bring to life the characters and dramas from the Gospels see poster.
Friday 14th: "Music for a Spring evening" concert at Badsworth see poster. 7-30pm.
Saturday 15th: Charity Spring Fayre here at Upton. Variety of stalls, offers of help and donations appreciated. Paula has details- she especially would like donations of books, jigsaws and children's games for one of the stalls.
Sunday 13th June: 'Onward'- celebrating the life of the diocese at Nostell Priory noon. Displays, prayer tent, activities for every age. Celebration Eucharist.
Family News
Kathryn (Senior) celebrates her birthday on Thursday 6th.
Paula would appreciate your support (and sponsorship for Breast cancer charity) as she and family run several half marathons this summer.
